South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation
I will be speaking at an 87 acre botanic garden located in Palos Verdes Peninsula, The South Coast Botanic Garden on May 12th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

Come enjoy the day visiting these gardens before and after my talk. They are open from 9:00-5:00. Call for tickets to visit the gardens, 310-544-1948. This botanic garden is unique in that it was developed and reclaimed from a sanitary landfill. Over 50 years ago, private citizens with a vision and purpose restored the land that has become a haven for plants and wildlife. There are over 200,000 plants. The Huntington Library – Huntington Botanical Garden
Thursday, July 12th, 2012 I will be presenting my hummingbird talk at The Huntington Library. Free. My talk will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Their address is 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, CA 91108. Tel. # 626-405-2100. Open M-F 12:00 – 4:30 pm, Open Sat. & Sun. 10:30-4:30 pm. Closed on Tuesdays.
I encourage all to come and visit their beautiful botanical gardens, art collection and exhibits on 207 acres in Southern California, San Gabriel Valley. It’s a great research center. Reservations not needed. Free parking. To see the gardens you need to purchase tickets. Check out there schedule of exhibits and additional information at www.huntington.org. There is a nice Cafe and Tea house on the grounds.

2. Monday, November 21st, 2011 San Juan Garden Club meeting at the San Juan Golf Club on San Juan Creek Road in San Juan Capistrano. Begins at 10:00a.m.
3. Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 back again at the Casa Romantica, San Clemente. Program begins at 12:00pm.

4. Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 with the Good Neighbors Club held at the
Irons in the Fire Restaurant, San Clemente, CA. Program will begin at 12:30 p.m.
5. Saturday, May 12th, 2012 at the South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation, Palos Verdes, CA 310-544-1948. The program will begin at 1:00 p.m.
6. Thursday, July 12th, 2012 at The Huntington Library, San Marino, CA 626-405-2100. The lecture/talk FREE.
No reservations needed. Come spend the day and visit the beautiful botanical gardens. Will need to purchase tickets to visit the bontanical gardens. Check out their website, www.huntington.org for more information.
