Speaking Engagements
South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation
I will be speaking at an 87 acre botanic garden located in Palos Verdes Peninsula, The South Coast Botanic Garden on May 12th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
Address, 26300 Crenshaw Blvd., Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA 90274.
Come enjoy the day visiting these gardens before and after my talk. They are open from 9:00-5:00. Call for tickets to visit the gardens, 310-544-1948. This botanic garden is unique in that it was developed and reclaimed from a sanitary landfill. Over 50 years ago, private citizens with a vision and purpose restored the land that has become a haven for plants and wildlife. There are over 200,000 plants. Read the story on their website, www.southcoastbotanicgarden.org.
